I attempted to design and Analog joystick in 2020 using both manufactured new parts (custom made POTS) and attempted to repurpose old 5200 joysticks. It was a tedious process and it was just not cost effective, so I chose an approach that just works for most Atari 5200 games. Out of the 69 games made for the Atari 5200 - 55+ are playable, including many homebrews, paddle games and hacks.
